Those first days with your baby pass so quickly. The tiny fingers, sleepy stretches and sweet little details change before you know it. Your newborn session is designed to preserve those fleeting moments while giving you a relaxed, comfortable experience during those first few weeks together.
Sessions take place in my private Hampton, Georgia studio, where everything you need for your baby's portraits is ready for you. You'll have access to my collection of wraps, props, headbands and accessories, and I'll guide you through the entire experience. Depending on the collection you choose, your session can include beautifully styled images of baby as well as portraits with parents and siblings.
With over a decade of experience photographing newborns, I take a patient, baby-led approach and allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing and snuggles along the way. I serve families throughout Hampton, McDonough, Stockbridge, Fayetteville and surrounding areas, creating timeless newborn portraits you'll treasure long after those tiny newborn days have passed.

NEWBORN SESSION FAQS
Absolutely. Parent and sibling portraits are included with select newborn collections. These are some of my favorite images to create because they capture not only your new baby, but the beginning of this new chapter for your entire family.
Can family members, including siblings, be a part of the newborn photography session?
That's completely normal! Newborn sessions are designed around your baby's needs, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes and snuggles. I've been photographing newborns for over a decade, so there's never any pressure for your baby to perform or follow a schedule. We simply take our time and follow baby's lead.
What if my baby is fussy or uncooperative during the photography session?
Once you're booked, I'll send you everything you need to know to prepare for your session. My Hampton studio is stocked with wraps, props, headbands and accessories, so you don't need to bring anything unless there's something sentimental you'd like included. I'll take care of the details so you can simply arrive and enjoy the experience.
What should I do to prepare for a newborn photography session?
It's best to reserve your newborn session while you're still pregnant so I can plan around your due date and make sure I have availability. Once your baby arrives, we'll finalize the session date. Newborn sessions are typically photographed during the first few weeks, but don't worry if your baby is a little older—we can still create beautiful newborn portraits.
When is the best time to schedule a newborn photography session?
Absolutely! You're welcome to share inspiration, colors or ideas you love. I'll use those preferences to help plan your session while keeping the final images consistent with my style and, most importantly, keeping your baby's comfort and safety at the center of everything we do.
Can I request specific poses or themes for the newborn photography session?
Session length depends on the collection you choose and your baby's needs. Newborn sessions are never rushed, and we'll allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing and snuggles along the way. Most sessions last approximately 1½–2½ hours.
